South Bay Guitar Society: Ashwin Krishna

South Bay Guitar Society and Foothill Presbyterian Church present solo classical guitarist Ashwin Krishna, 2nd place winner of the 2011 Guitar Foundation of America International solo (Junior Division) competition, Pacific Musical Society, the 2011 Menhuin-Dowling, and the 2010 and 2011 Guitar Foundation of America Junior Division competitions.

Studying with Scott Cmiel at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, 13-year old Ashwin will feature Albeniz's Sevilla, York's Introduction & Sunburst, Bach's Prelude & Allegro, and Villa-Lobos' Prelude 1 in E Minor.

Featuring songs from their album "Prince of Life, the singer, songwriter team of Jon Roblin and Teresa Anthony will present a fusion of original Christian jazz compositions that swing with a combination of spiritual lyrics and uplifting jazz melodies.
